description
STATE OF THE ART
The present invention is in the field of railings for Baikonone on buildings. It relates to a balcony parapet, containing one or more parapet panels of glass or Plexiglas as a vertical standing parapet element, wherein the one or more parapet plate in each case at least in the region of the free edges of the bottom of the balcony forming base plate is fastened such that the parapet plate at the edges the base plate abuts the entire surface.
This particular type of attachment of the vertical parapet plate is due to certain structural safety regulations, because such a plate, which often consists of glass or Plexiglas, is quite difficult, and it must therefore in the event of damage considerable potential drop height on walk-in public grounds therefore be attached to a balcony in a particularly secure manner, because the attachment must remain stable even if the glass plate is damaged. Without the enclosure and with mounting of the plate by conventional screws that engage through holes in the plate, otherwise there would be a danger that a blow to the plate this breaks, and the fixing screw may not hold the individual pieces, especially then, if there is a crack in the glass to the screw.
The German Utility Model DE 20 2011 004 083 U1 discloses such a railing of glass plates for Baikon. As there particularly the description in connection with the figure 5 shows, such a secure, attachment of the enclosure over the entire surface of the balcony leading edge implies that there is no more room to rain water, which is present on the balcony floor, to the outside around the front edge of the balcony dissipate, because the attachment causes an almost complete, forced caused, and actually unwanted tightness, because the balcony railing so close to the front edge of the bottom plate that it seals virtually like the wall of an aquarium. Therefore, the balcony must be drained to the inside, as illustrated in DE 20 2011 004 083 U1 in Figure 5.
An internal drainage in turn has some disadvantages. It is generally much more expensive, because it is structurally more complicated than an external drainage. In addition, the introduction of an internal drainage in the renovation of Baikon from the inventory is particularly complex.
The object of the present invention is therefore to produce a generic parapet so that their attachment to a balcony slab is safe, but that nevertheless a drainage of the balcony can be done to the outside.
ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention with the features of claim 1 solves this problem.
In the dependent claims are advantageous developments and improvements of the respective subject of the invention.
The present invention discloses as a basic approach the idea that either the parapet plate in the contact area of the front edge and possibly the side edges of the balcony floor plate or an intermediate rail between parapet and front edge of the bottom plate of the balcony, preferably a mounting profile for the railing, in her or its attachment region with the front edge of the balcony floor plate has one or more recesses, wherein after installation by the recesses in the parapet plate or in the intermediate strip or mounting profile in each case a drainage channel is formed in the vertical direction downwards, and the rainwater from the bottom plate of the balcony comes, can run down through these channels. So it runs in each case by a gap between the front edge of the balcony slab, which is usually made of thick concrete, and the balcony railing down from, preferably in a gutter extending below.
The intermediate strip may be a stable, strip-shaped component, which has approximately the width and the length of the balcony leading edge or another outer edge of the balcony and, which is first attached to the outer edge of the balcony and the factory already a variety of vertically extending Recesses, or holes, etc. has, so that with their total cross-section sufficient drainage capacity is ensured for the discharged from the balcony slab water. Depending on the material used, aluminum, steel or durable plastic, it is preferably between 10 and 30 mm thick, with aluminum about 15 mm. Preferably, however, this intermediate strip can be equal to integrated in the mounting profile provided either in a stable mechanical composite with it or in one piece.
The advantage of this solution variant with "perforated intermediate strip " is that the parapet plate can be used without further processing as it is supplied as a flat material, and that it is not weakened by the recesses in their stability, which is particularly relevant if it is made of glass. In addition, a linear attachment of the parapet plate according to relevant statutory provisions, in Germany, for example, the "Technical Rules for the use of fall-arresting glazing " (TRAV).
Another advantage is that the dimensioning of the drainage capacity for rainwater can be taken almost independent of static interference of the intermediate strip, because the intermediate strip or the mounting profile despite significant "perforation". with the outflow channels forming cavities still has a sufficiently high stability and carrying capacity for the parapet plates, especially if the intermediate strip or the mounting profile of solid metal, such as aluminum, is made.
Advantageously, the water is then further derived by a drainage channel, which runs parallel to the lower edge of the bottom plate. This channel can be made small and modern, so that it disturbs the above-mentioned visual impression only slightly. Instead, however, other technical discharge means for the water may be used, such as down-hanging chains or the like.
The solution is also suitable for glass plates that come out without the said enclosure, but where the glass plate is mounted with or without flat intermediate strip, such as rubber or a fleece directly to the front edge of the balcony, such as by a combination of if necessary section-wise gluing and screwing.
Advantageously, however, the parapet plate is enclosed in a mounting pocket, which in turn is attached to the free edge of the base plate.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the balcony railing includes a peripheral mounting profile, which has the attachment pocket and attaching below a drainage channel, the best equal factory-connected, or integrated from a single sheet metal and made in one piece.
This saves you the time-consuming assembly of mounting profile and drainage channel on the site.
Of particular optical appeal is an embodiment of the invention in which the recess is formed by a milled recess in the glass plate whose depth of cut is less than the thickness of the sill plate. This ensures that the outside surface of the plate is perfectly preserved.
The mounting profile according to the invention may be made of galvanized sheet steel, or in higher quality stainless steel, or other suitable materials.
These modern, trendy "glass railings" visually act so that from the outside a uniform, smooth surface is to be perceived, which covers as possible the leading edge of the base plate of the balcony, and should be visually disturbed by as few other parapet elements.
The present invention includes the idea of all such technical elements that fulfill a further technical function, such as the attachment of the balustrade of the balcony only from the inside to be visible, but not possible or only very limited from the outside.
DRAWINGS
Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and explained in more detail in the following description.

Figure 3 is a view according to Figure 2 with a slightly larger cut, the about
Thickness of the (balcony) inner glass plate corresponds.
Figure 4 is a view according to Figure 2 with even larger cutout, which corresponds to the thickness of the (balcony) inner glass plate and about half the thickness of the outer glass plate.
Figure 5 is a view according to Figure 2 with even larger cutout, which corresponds to the thickness of the (balcony) inner glass plate and about the entire thickness of the outer glass plate.
Figure 6 is a view according to Figure 2 with even larger cutout, which corresponds to the thickness of the (balcony) inner glass plate and the outer glass plate.
Figure 7 is a zoomed out view of Figure 6, from which the lateral Ab stood between two recesses in the throat between the outer plate edge of the bottom plate of the balcony and the parapet is illustrated.
Figure 8 is a representation according to Figure 2, wherein, however, the recess are not present in the parapet plate but in the mounting profile.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
In the figures, like reference characters designate the same or functionally identical components.
Figure 1 shows a side view of a sectional surface of the mounting profile 10 according to the invention with inserted composite safety glass plate 1, which in turn consists of an inner pane 2, an outer pane 4 and an intermediate film 5.
The mounting profile 10 is already applied with its support area 11 on the edge region of a bottom plate 6 of a balcony and fastened with suitable fasteners as known in the art under the flooring 8 of the balcony and not shown in the front edge of the concrete slab.
The lower edge region of the glass plate 1 is peripherally bordered, down through the support floor 13 of the mounting profile, outwardly through the outer skirt portion 12 and inwardly through the mounting portion 14th
The dot-dash line 16 shows the inventively provided drainage channel of the rainwater, as it was prepared by a corresponding, vertically extending recess in the inner glass plate 2. The water then drips through holes (not shown in the figure) provided in the support floor into the gutter 20, which is formed in profile by the channel region 20.
Figure 2 shows a top view of the concrete slab 6 of a balcony with a view of a partial section of the mounting profile 10 with inserted glass plate (VSG) with the two discs 2 and 4 along the line ll-ll in Figure 1, wherein the recess 16 below the line ll-ll takes place only in a fairly shallow cutout with a maximum depth of cut, which corresponds to about half the thickness of the (balcony) inner glass pane 2. The cutout 16 can be prefabricated either on site or already prefabricated in the operation of the balcony manufacturer or -Sanierers. In this case, the usual tools can be used, which are known in the art. The vertical length of the cutout extends from just above the line II-II in Figure 1 to the lower edge of the glass sheet 2. Thus, a free channel for the outflow of rainwater is formed having the cross section shown in Figure 2. With a thickness of the disc 2 of 6 mm, the milling depth is about 3 mm, the width of the cutout about 20 mm.
Figure 3 shows a view according to Figure 2 with a slightly larger cutout 16, which corresponds approximately to the thickness of the (balcony) inner glass plate 2 of 6 mm. This allows larger amounts of water to flow, possibly with smaller dirt particles, without causing a blockage of the drainage channel.
Figure 4 shows a view according to Figure 2 with even larger cutout 16, which corresponds to the thickness of the (balcony) inner glass plate 2 and about half the thickness of the outer glass plate 4, in the example about 9mm. The aforementioned technical effect is further enhanced without endangering the stability of the plate, since the cutout 16 of possible mounting holes in the glass plate 1 is far away if possible.
Figure 5 shows a view according to Figure 2 with even larger cutout 16, which corresponds to the thickness of the (balcony) inner glass plate 2 and about the entire thickness of the outer glass plate 4. The effect described above is further enhanced, the stability of the parapet remains ensured, especially if the lateral distances between two cutouts 30 cm and more.
Figure 6 shows a view according to Figure 2 with even larger recess 16, which corresponds to the thickness of the (balcony) inner glass plate 2 and the outer glass plate 4. This recess 16 can be made by sawing the glass material.
Figure 7 shows a zoomed out view of Figure 6, from which the lateral distance between two recesses 16 in the throat between the outer edge of the plate plate bottom plate 6 of the balcony and the balcony balustrade is clear. It should be between 10 cm and 100 cm depending on the drainage capacity and cross-sectional area of the drainage channel.
FIG. 8 shows a representation according to FIG. 2, although the recess is not present in the parapet plate as in FIG. 2, but as a recess 22 in the assembly profile 10. The mounting profile is provided for example of aluminum with a thickness of 15 mm in the mounting portion 14 to the front edge of the balcony. The recesses 22 therein have then about a thickness of 5 mm and a width of 30 mm.
So that the drainage is ensured, the recesses are provided at a distance of about 30 cm along the parapet length. The recesses 22 may be provided for the purpose of ease of manufacture as wells, for example, with an inner diameter of 4-8 mm at a thickness of the mounting profile in this range of about 15 mm.
The number of holes per meter running parapet should be adapted to their diameter and the amount of water to be discharged.
The mounting profile according to the invention can be mounted just like the profiles that are known in the art.
When using a separate intermediate strip, this can first be attached to the mounting profile, and then both parts are fastened together on the balcony slab, so that the fastening screws penetrate both the mounting profile and the intermediate strip, and then anchored in the concrete slab of the balcony.
